State Offices

Learn and Serve

Funding from Learn and Serve America supports the development and strengthening of state Compact infrastructure.

Campus Compact’s network of state affiliates continues to expand. New offices are formed each year, with the most recent addition bringing the total to 35 state offices across the country.

State Campus Compact offices provide powerful leadership at the local, state, and regional level to mobilize resources and provide support for member campuses.

Members have told us that the resources and assistance provided by state Compact offices are invaluable in helping them build community service and service-learning on campus.

Higher education's role in preparing citizens and leaders for our communities, this nation, and a global society has never been more important than it is today. The focus of Utah Campus Compact is to facilitate civic engagement by our students.... The results of that effort are evident in the learning experiences that Utah faculty are designing."
