Campus Compact Annual Membership Survey - 2005
A 2005 Executive Summary of Statistics A. Purpose and MethodologyStarting in 1987, Campus Compact has conducted an annual membership survey for the purpose of assessing service-related statistics as well as identifying important issue areas and trends. The 2005 Campus Compact Annual Membership Survey was conducted as an online survey from October 1, 2005 until December 16, 2005. At the date the survey began, there were a total of 975 Campus Compact member institutions. A total of 484 members responded to the survey, yielding a final response rate of 50%. A total of 3,137,568 undergraduate students and 183,097 faculty members were represented by the institutions who participated in the survey, yielding an overall average of 6,911 students and 422 faculty members per campus. Author InformationDawn M. Salgado is a doctoral student in the Behavioral Sciences program at the University of Rhode Island and received her Master's degree in Psychology from Brandeis University. She previously worked as a Research Associate for the National Center for PTSD in Boston, Massachusetts and at the Community Research and Services Team (CRST) in Providence, Rhode Island. Over the past five years, she has also assisted a variety of social services, educational, and nonprofit organizations as an evaluator, data analyst, grant writer, and research consultant.
