Gail has comprehensive experience in creating and institutionalizing a formal service-learning program. She also has expertise in faculty development, assessment, capacity building with community partners, and curricular service opportunities for students. She is one of four mentors in the American Association of Community Colleges Program Community Colleges Broadening Horizons through Service-Learning during 2006-2009.

She is an outstanding leader in our network and always willing to partner and share her expertise with her colleagues.

Joe has extensive experience in service learning leadership, even as a junior faculty member. He has incorporated service learning in his sociology courses by having students interview Bowdoin faculty about their concerns and support of s-l and has been instrumental in the success of the development service learning on his campus.
