Connecticut Campus Compact has 16 AmeriCorps*VISTA position open for the 2011-2012 service year. Members will be placed on college campuses throughout Connecticut from 8/12/2011 – 8/10/2012. CTCC VISTA members mobilize college service-learners and volunteers to serve poverty-affected students and community members, develop and sustain campus/community partnerships, and develop college service-learning courses addressing poverty related issues. VISTAs in Connecticut receive a monthly stipend of approximately $900/month (varies on location). Some host sites offer housing, meal plans, Rec passes, public transportation passes, etc…
