The VISTA Leader will be a positive role model for up to 10 VISTA members assigned to the Delaware Economic Development Office. The Leader will facilitate idea-sharing and mediate issues with the community, the project, supervisors, and the VISTA Members.
The Leader will play a supportive role to the HR Manager to recruit, mentor and coordinate VISTA members assigned to the project. VISTA members serve the State’s Main Street Program, Entrepreneurship & Small Business Support Center & the Workforce Development Center to assist Delaware’s businesses.The VISTA Leader will assist members to strengthen businesses & revitalization organizations to provide them technical assistance & training to engage staff & volunteers to create new & strengthen downtown businesses.
