The AmeriCorps*VISTA Leader will work directly with the 20 Maryland Campus Compact (MDCC) VISTAs placed at higher education institutions across the state of Maryland to encourage and promote the expansion of service and quality campus-community partnerships. The MDCC-VISTA Leader will support and coordinate 20 MDCC-VISTAs as they address poverty in their local communities through creating and deepening partnerships between institutions of higher education and the surrounding communities throughout the state of Maryland. As an administrative position, the MDCC-VISTA Leader will work with the 20 MDCC-VISTAs and their supervisors, not directly with college students or community members.
