Use your VISTA experience to build a strong, statewide VISTA cohort! Be the NC Campus Compact VISTA LEADER

The North Carolina Campus Compact AmeriCorps*VISTA program builds capacity of communities to address poverty-related needs through the work of VISTA members who leverage higher education resources to strengthen community partners.  The VISTA LEADER will work with the Program Coordinator to facilitate all aspects of program & provide leadership for NC Campus Compact VISTA members, including the development of training modules and online communications. The VISTA LEADER is a vital part of the NC Campus Compact team, assisting in day-to-day operations & other tasks to ensure members’ success. NC Campus Compact is a growing coalition of 45 public, independent and community colleges and universities. Presidents and chancellors commit their institutions to being “engaged campuses” that enhance a student’s sense of responsibility, citizenship, leadership and awareness of community, and impact the community by partnering with local organizations to address real needs. You must have completed 1 year of VISTA service and have a Bachelor’s degree to apply.
