Fight Poverty with the Power of Higher Education! Become a NC Campus Compact VISTA

AmeriCorps*VISTA is a national service program that lets citizens commit a year of service to help non-profit agencies better serve low-income people. NC Campus Compact VISTAs advance higher education’s mission of civic engagement and the VISTA mission of fighting poverty by bringing campus resources to support community partners serving people in need. Our VISTA projects focus on areas such as education, economic opportunity, healthy futures, and veterans. VISTAs work full-time and receive a monthly living stipend and health benefits and are eligible for a $5500 education award upon completion of their service year. You must have a Bachelor’s degree to apply.
