The VISTA Leader provides support to Court Appointed Special Advocates of New Jersey in two key areas:
- Collaborate with the Project Supervisor in the overall management of the VISTA Project with particular emphasis on the success of the VISTA Project by means of recruiting and retaining VISTA Members; facilitating knowledge transfer among VISTA members, providing guidance and technical assistance to VISTA Members, and resolving conflicts which might arise between the VISTA Member and site supervisors and
- collaborating with statewide fundraising efforts, on an as needed basis, which will include: grant writing, providing assistance and expertise to the CASA of NJ VISTA Development Assistant in matters pertaining to the donor database and other fundraising objectives, and providing as needed fund development assistance to the statewide network of VISTAs.
