The University of Pittsburgh hosts the Hesselbein Global Academy for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement, which aims to inspire, develop, and reward accomplished student leaders to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

The Hesselbein Student Leadership Summit selects up to fifty students from around the world to receive advanced leadership training from distinguished mentors and to engage with other top student leaders. The Academy covers the cost of room, board, registration, and provides $200 in travel assistance. The online application is currently open for the student leadership summit this July 23-26, 2011. Application dealine is May 1, 2011.
