The Coalition of Urban & Metropolitan Universities will convene its 13th Annual Conference in Baltimore, Maryland October 20th – 23rd examining the growing collaboration between academic institutions and their communities. Providing a forum for faculty and administrators, dialogue and discussion will focus on institutional commitments by urban and metropolitan universities community engagement research, teaching, and field-work experiences.

We will be accepting a maximum of 70 high-quality proposals for approximately 23 concurrent sessions (each lasting 90 minutes total). Submitted proposals will be reviewed by at least two faculty members representing four Baltimore area colleges/universities. Conference presenters will be invited to submit papers to the Editor of Metropolitan Universities journal for possible publication in a future journal issue.
