The 17th Annual CUMU Conference, hosted by Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) from October 9-11, 2011, will focus on “Creating Tomorrow’s Future Today.” This conference will explore university/community partnerships that are preparing both to embrace the future.  Suggested Proposal Topics include:

• University/community urban planning
• Educational infrastructure
• Environmental threats and remediation
• Wellness and public health
• Community partnerships for student experiential learning
• Niche academic offerings
• Translational research and its impact on the community
