The 6th Annual ICC Conference on Service and Engagement to be held on April 19, 2007 at Indiana State University will provide an opportunity for faculty and staff from ICC member campuses to create presentations related to research and best practices in service-learning and civic engagement.

Presentation Formats

Two types of presentation formats are available, oral presentations and poster presentations. To make a presentation at the conference, one presenter should prepare and submit an abstract detailing the information to be discussed. Presentations may have any number of authors and co-presenters, but one individual should be identified as the primary contact.

  • Oral presentations- Each abstract submitted and accepted for an oral presentation will be assigned an hour-long time slot. PowerPoint and other A/V equipment will be provided.
  • Poster presentations- Poster boards will be displayed in a central location for participants to view throughout the conference day. Poster board presenters will not be required to remain with their work during the conference.
