Journal for Civic Commitment:
a twice-yearly, online journal dedicated to service learning and civic engagement The Community College National Center for Community Engagement announces the 16th Issue of the

Our feature interviewees are George Mehaffy, Vice President for Academic Leadership and Change, American Association of State Colleges and Universities and Brian Murphy, President, De Anza College, who will be discussing the American Democracy Project and its role in cultivating civic engagement in our college students.

We are currently accepting articles for possible publication in the Fall Issue of The Journal for Civic Commitment.  Deadline for Submission for the Fall 2011 issue is March 15, 2011.  You can find the authors’ guidelines on our website at http://www.mesacc.edu/engagement/Journal.
