· Concurrent Workshop – A 60-minute session led by practitioners, students, researchers, and
others engaged in the field of civic engagement. A concurrent workshop is an interactive
“how-to” session with 50 minutes of presentation and at least 10 minutes designated for
Q&A.

· Mini-Workshop – A 20-minute session designed for the basic transfer of knowledge. This is
an opportunity to share best practices with colleagues in a brief format. Mini-Workshops
will be presented during the normal conference schedule. The sharing of tools, resources,
and handouts is encouraged.
