Maine Women’s Fund: Economic Security Initiative

The Maine Women’s Fund is a public foundation, creating lasting change by investing in the power of women and the dreams of girls. The Fund’s Economic Security Initiative invests in nonprofit organizations committed to helping achieve economic security for all Maine women and girls. The initiative’s funding areas include the following: education and youth development, entrepreneurship and better jobs and wages, financial literacy and asset building, and policy and leadership. Grants average around $5,000; however, exemplary proposals of up to $15,000 will be considered.  Visit the Fund’s website to learn more about the funding guidelines and application procedure for the Economic Security Initiative.
