The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina works continually to address the needs of the poor and underserved in South Carolina. The Foundation’s Caritas Fund provides grants to nonprofit organizations and faith-based agencies based in South Carolina that provide outreach services in order to meet the basic needs of the poor. These awards of up to $5,000 are designed for organizations with annual budgets of less than $600,000 that are dealing with situational poverty or crisis poverty.
