The Wellmark Foundation is dedicated to improving the health of Iowans, South Dakotans, and their communities. The Foundation’s Matching Assets to Community Health (MATCH) grant program focuses its funding on improving health through prevention within the following areas: childhood obesity prevention, and community-based wellness and prevention. Funded programs should advance work in one of the following categories: Promoting Active Living and Built Environment, or Increasing Access to and Consumption of Nutritious Food. Grant awards must be matched dollar-for-dollar by resources, either cash or in-kind, with at least one half of the match being cash. Letters of interest are due April 30, 2013.
