Support the philosophy and implementation of Western New England University’s Learning Beyond the Classroom requirement by developing and expanding service programs, projects, and community partnerships. Coordinate/supervise service opportunities for the University community and promote an atmosphere conducive to experiential learning, service, and civic engagement. Work with appropriate student organizations. Cultivate relationships between campus constituencies and community organizations to provide a variety of learning opportunities for students while meeting the needs of the community. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Experience in community service/service-learning in higher education required. Experience working with college students to promote reflective learning and civic engagement. Ability to collaborate with many constituencies, work independently, utilize social media, and multitask required. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills also required.
