Western Carolina University is searching for a Director of the Center for Service Learning. The director of the Center for Service Learning oversees the university’s volunteer, community service, and service-learning activities. The director is responsible for developing and managing relevant resources, for planning, implementing, monitoring, and assessing/evaluating related community and civic engagement initiatives as well as service learning co-curricular activities. The Center’s director develops and maintains effective relationships with various service-learning stakeholders: university administrators, staff, faculty, and students; community agencies, local government departments, and nongovernmental organizations in the Western North Carolina region, and various relevant organizations at the state and national levels.
