Beloit College, a selective liberal arts college located in Beloit, Wisconsin, seeks applicants for a full-time Director of Academic Advising. The Director will hold a joint appointment in Academic Affairs and Student Affairs and report to the Vice President for Academic Affairs/Dean of the College and the Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students. As such, the Director will administer collaborative initiatives to develop the whole student through the core values of a residential liberal arts education.

The primary responsibilities of the Director include:

• oversight of policy and practices relating to academic advising
• developing and disseminating an advising model that links responsible student curricular choices with the goals of liberal education
• overseeing of a faculty development program that links student advising with effective teaching and orients new faculty in the values and goals of residential liberal arts education
• ensuring articulation and coordination of programming among the College
