The Hamilton Campus of Miami University seeks applications for Director of Civic Engagement. Responsibilities include: Supervising VISTA volunteer, Service Learning Placement and Community Programming Coordinator; connecting students, staff, and faculty to volunteer opportunities in community; maintaining Democracy Wall; programming for students, including STAYcation experience; faculty development around civic engagement, service learning, and concomitant research and curricular opportunities; responsibility for Ohio Civic Health Report; assessment for Carnegie Community Engagement Classification; other duties as assigned. Master’s degree; experience in community or civic engagement activities is required. Desired qualifications: Experience with the Ohio Civic Health Report; curricular development experience; doctorate.
