Director of Service Scholars Program

Pfeiffer University - Misenheimer, NC

Pfeiffer University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position of Director of Service Scholar Programs to coordinate and manage four exciting service-based scholarship programs at the University. Working in the Francis Center for Servant Leadership, the Director will supervise and coordinate the program development, implementation, and evaluation of students and placement sites within all service scholar programs at Pfeiffer and will serve as a critical link between the Bonner Foundation and the North Carolina Campus Compact.

The Director will be responsible for collaborating with a team of professionals to increase and engage the entire Pfeiffer student body in civic engagement and service programming and initiatives and will work to facilitate strong community connections. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study with at least three years experience in higher education and program management, Master’s degree preferred.

Pfeiffer University is a private, Liberal Arts University, affiliated with the United Methodist Church, whose mission is to prepare servant leaders for life-long learning. The main campus is located in Misenheimer, approximately 40 miles northeast of Charlotte, NC, with additional locations in Charlotte, Cornelius and the Raleigh area. This position will be based in Misenheimer. Compensation is based upon education and experience.
