Civic Engagement Coordinator, Morgridge Center for Public Service

University of Wisconsin-Madison - Madison, WI

The Morgridge Center for Public Service, http://morgridge.wisc.edu/, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for Civic Engagement Coordinator to manage the Center’s extra-curricular civic engagement programs and services, including the Badger Volunteers Program, Volunteer Fairs, the Volunteer Transportation Program and Morgridge Center awards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required;Master’s degree preferred, with a focus in higher education administration or related field
  • Minimum of three years experience administering civic engagement programming and university/community collaborations within a higher education setting.

Primary areas of responsibility include:

  • Program development, management and evaluation;
  • Community and campus outreach; and
  • Student engagement and training.

Other center-wide administrative duties include website and database management as well as marketing functions. This position is responsible for maintaining close working relationships with a variety of University units and non-profit organizations.

This is a full-time (12 month) Fixed Term Academic Staff appointment with appropriate fringe benefits.
