The Morgridge Center for Public Service, http://morgridge.wisc.edu/, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for Civic Engagement Coordinator to manage the Center’s extra-curricular civic engagement programs and services, including the Badger Volunteers Program, Volunteer Fairs, the Volunteer Transportation Program and Morgridge Center awards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required;Master’s degree preferred, with a focus in higher education administration or related field
- Minimum of three years experience administering civic engagement programming and university/community collaborations within a higher education setting.
Primary areas of responsibility include:
- Program development, management and evaluation;
- Community and campus outreach; and
- Student engagement and training.
Other center-wide administrative duties include website and database management as well as marketing functions. This position is responsible for maintaining close working relationships with a variety of University units and non-profit organizations.
