Executive Director, Iowa Campus Compact

Iowa Campus Compact (IACC) invites applications for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for providing leadership and assistance to member institutions for the purpose of furthering both student and institutional engagement. The Executive Director position is located in Des Moines.

Required Qualifications: Experience in service-learning, civic engagement, higher education, campus-community collaboration and/or nonprofit management; strong oral and written communication and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to build coalitions and collaborative relationships with a diverse constituent groups, and community organizations; demonstrated financial management experience, including budget development and grant administration; experience in program planning, project management, goal development, agenda setting, meeting facilitation, and training; experience with community-based non-profit leadership and working knowledge of community issues; proven fundraising and grant writing ability; strong organizational and office management skills; experience in program assessment and evaluation; technological capability; bachelors degree; flexibility to travel.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree; working knowledge of higher education academic systems; experience with community-based, non-profit leadership and working knowledge of community issues; experience in multiple site project management and program planning, including goal development; agenda setting, meeting facilitation and follow up; experience in program evaluation
