Finacial Aid Assistant & Federal Work-Study Program Coordinator

UNH Manchester, the university’s urban, commuter campus is recruiting for the position of Financial Aid Assistant & Federal Work-Study Program Coordinator.

Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Financial Aid, the Financial Aid Assistant & Federal Work-Study Program Coordinator will perform a variety of tasks to support faculty, staff and students.

Responsibilities of this position will include managing the front office area, supervising student employee, coordinating the Federal Work-Study Program for the Manchester campus and performing other administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include High school graduation and five years of related experience involving progressive responsible duties requiring discretion and independent judgment or Associate’s Degree and three years of related experience or a combination of higher education and related experience equal to five years. Additional minimum qualifications also include proficiency with Microsoft Office, ability to communicate and maintain confidential financial information and establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the general public.

Additional desirable qualifications include experience in an academic Financial Aid setting and Banner Student.
Typical hours for this position are Monday-Thursday 9:30am-6pm, Friday 8:30-5pm, with flexibility available within the office. Starting hourly rate is typically not to exceed $16.48.
