In partnership with student, faculty, and administrative and community leaders, you will manage the creation of a shared strategic vision, mission, and values for leadership development at Temple University. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, you will develop, plan, and implement significant aspects of a university-wide leadership program. Specific responsibilities include:
* Serving as the Chief Coordinator of the Diamond Leader Program (overseeing Lead Teams, retreats, LeaderShape, Diamond Leader application process, awards ceremony, trainings, etc.).
* Overseeing Student Leadership Challenge programming, including the Emerging Leaders Seminar series, Exploring Leadership Speaker Series, and Leadership Lunch & Learn.
* Pursuing opportunities for academic connections (i.e., presentations at seminars) and continuing co-instruction of courses such as a leadership-themed Freshman Seminar Course and a leadership GenEd course.
Candidate must possess a Master’s degree in higher education, student personnel, or similar with 3 years of directly related experience. Experience overseeing curriculum, conducting program assessments, overseeing budgets, and managing leadership programs, as well as with facilitating trainings for student leaders. Demonstrated ability to build community and corporate relationships and to indentify external funding sources, as well as market events on media such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
