Nazareth College is searching for qualified candidates to direct the management internship program in the School of Management and serve as the interim director of the college-wide internship program in collaboration with the Center for Civic Engagement. Initial teaching load is expected to be one course per semester.
Appointment is expected to be at assistant professor level and may be a tenure track or clinical appointment pending academic credentials and experience.
An earned doctorate in management, human resource management or related field is preferred. Experience coordinating or advising internships, cooperative education or experiential learning programs is essential along with a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence.
Other qualifications include: (1) capacity to lead the effort to increase college-wide participation in the internship program; (2) integrate internship evaluation into the School of Management and college-wide outcomes assessment process; (3) conduct outreach to business and community groups; (4) ability to develop and teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level; (5) assist in the implementation of experiential learning initiatives connected to the new core curriculum; (6) candidates must be willing to perform compensated summer work.
