The Center for Art and Community Partnerships cultivates innovative, sustainable relationships with the broader community to explore and expand the relevance of art in public life. Two major areas of activity are overseen by the Director: the partnerships fostered in the immediate neighborhood of the college, Mission Hill/Roxbury; and the community-engaged curricula offered by the college’s faculty. In addition to direct support from the College, CACP has received significant external funding, including recent grants from the Kresge Foundation and MACC Americorps VISTA. The Director supervises four full- and part-time staff, and works closely with other offices of the College, including the Professional Galleries, Student Development, Youth Programs, the President’s Office, and the Art Education Department.
