RESPONSIBILITIES:

North Carolina Campus Compact (NCCC), housed at Elon University, is a consortium of 42 colleges and universities dedicated to building the capacity of colleges and universities to produce civically-engaged graduates and strengthen communities.

NCCC seeks an organized, collaborative and energetic Program Coordinator to oversee the successful implementation of a state-wide AmeriCorps program, and to work closely with campuses to help them build sustainable programming and establish funding. Specific responsibilities include: recruitment, training, and tracking for VISTA members; publicize Compact and campus program successes through media; and assist in developing diverse funding avenues for campuses and Compact.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree with strong organization, detail-orientation, communications (i.e., social media, press releases) experience, and computer skills required.  Masters degree, experience working with higher education institutions and/or AmeriCorps programs, and grant writing background preferred.
