Wisconsin Campus Compact (WiCC) invites applications for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for providing leadership and assistance to member institutions for the purpose of furthering both student and institutional engagement. The host institution for WiCC is the University of Wisconsin Extension, which is located in Madison, Wisconsin.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of 3-5 years experience in higher education-based community and civic engagement programs, including community-based learning, community-based research, outreach, and/or campus-community collaboration programs; Masters degree in relevant discipline; able to work with a diverse board of college/university presidents, other campus constituent groups, and diverse community organizations; proven fundraising and grant writing ability; demonstrated financial management experience, including budget development and grant management; track record of building coalitions and collaborative relationships with diverse groups; strong oral and written communication and presentation skills; strong organizational and office management skills; electronically capable i.e. computers, listservs, internet browsers, etc. ); flexibility to travel.
Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in relevant discipline; working knowledge of higher education academic systems; significant experience with community-based, non-profit leadership and working knowledge of community issues; experience in multiple site project management and program planning, including goal development, agenda setting, meeting facilitation and follow up; experience in program evaluation.
