Sugati Publications is putting together a multidisciplinary team of interns for our Winter and Spring internship programs to work on our upcoming book, 51%: Women and the Future of Politics. The book has a national focus featuring prominent women leaders with publication expected in early 2013.
Ideal candidates will be majoring in: communications, journalism, new media, political science, social sciences, marketing or business. Interns will be assigned a specific project pertaining to the development and/or marketing of the book based on their majors and their interests (e.g., production of a promotional video about women and politics; development of social media marketing efforts, oversight of a Twitter campaign about the future of women and politics, and outreach to national leaders and organizations.) This is a distance learning internship since we are seeking interns across the US for this campaign. All work can be performed off-site with computer/Internet access.
