2012 World Choir Games

Location: The primary competitions will be held in downtown Cincinnati although there will be concerts for the public held throughout the greater Cincinnati area. Volunteers are asked to provide their own transportation.

Who: 2012 World Choir Games: July 4 through 14, 2012 with opportunities to volunteer from now through July 14.

What: The 2012 World Choir Games is an international competition of choirs in 23 categories who will come from more than 45 countries. There will be thousands of choir members who are members of more than 400 choirs and many thousands of spectators.

When: The 2012 World Choir Games will be held in Cincinnati between July 4 and 14, 2012. There are opportunities to volunteer from now until the choir games end.

Where: The primary competitions will be held in downtown Cincinnati although there will be concerts for the public held throughout the greater Cincinnati area. Volunteers are asked to provide their own transportation.

Tasks: Volunteers are needed to host visiting choirs, escort assigned choirs to events, assist dignitaries and judges, assistance with the public, and many other activities. There are special opportunities for bilingual students who can act as interpreters.

Perks: Volunteers will have the satisfaction of meeting persons from all over the world, and in participating in a world class event that will be the pride of Cincinnati for years to come.
