Annemiek Wilson, University of Montana, Montana

Annemiek Wilson is an incredibly engaged student both on campus and in the Missoula community. She is active with the campus Office for Civic Engagement where she serves as a Campus Corps AmeriCorps member. In this role she recruits volunteers and coordinates placements with partnering local nonprofit organizations. Her work has directly increased the capacity of dozens of nonprofit organizations to provide services to the most vulnerable citizens of our community. Beyond this, Annemiek also coordinates volunteers for the University of Montana’s Service Saturdays group, is the president of the Volunteers in Action student group, is active in the RotarACT club and teaches soccer campus with the YMCA. She is also active in planning and organizing national service volunteer days.

Thanks for your continued outstanding leadership at Campus Compact. Your publications and programs are always top-notch. I sincerely appreciate all you have done for us in the trenches."
