Dan Coviello is an incredible citizen and scholar. His broad participation in service initiatives and deep personal investment in two key areas have left an indelible mark on our community. Connecting his academic work and passion for helping others, Dan works tirelessly on water purification projects and other sustainable solutions that will have a lasting, global impact. Dan also partners significantly with our local blood bank to enhance Lehigh’s support for meeting critical health needs in our community. Above all, it is the passionate and compassionate character Dan demonstrates when serving that make him a valued servant leader.

Thanks to Campus Compact for all that you have done over the years to nurture the campus service and service-learning movement. When we started at St. A's 15 years ago there was a feeling among some campuses that we were seeing higher education's latest 'flash in the pan.'
