Granite State College’s Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program allows students to work in their communities while earning their teacher certification. In both of Jennifer’s roles as a Special Education Paraprofessional and as a Reading Specialist, Jennifer immediately earns her student’s respect with her engaging personality, enthusiasm and commitment to education. Jennifer invites her students to engage with their communities. A specific example includes her organization of a student-run concession stand to help students raise funds for after-school activities. Colleagues and students at her school look to Jennifer as a leader, motivator and engaging teacher focused on community service.
