Kirsten Bielen, a sophomore at Buena Vista University is a very motivated volunteer and advocate for immigrants to our community. She has dedicated herself to volunteering with an organization called “The Bridge.”  At The Bridge, she has been instrumental in building capacity and assisting the organization with developing their services for the community.  Kirsten is seen as a dedicated volunteer who has mobilized and empowered hundreds of people. She is a motivated young woman who intends to commit her life to service and others.
