Nick Tyger, a junior at Washington & Jefferson College, is the Founder of Presidents’ without Borders, a student organization committed to actively introducing the students of Washington & Jefferson College to global areas that are generally underserved and underrepresented in the field of medicine, while providing opportunities for personal and scholastic growth. This group aims to shape future professionals, both in medical and non-medical professions, as empathetic global citizens. Nick will be going on his third medical mission trip this summer and will be scouting future sites for medical missions to expand his work into Peru. He is a valued member of the Washington & Jefferson community and recognized student leader on campus.
