Adel Wilks, a second-year student at Catawba Valley Community College, has volunteered with numerous aspects of campus life, including the CVCC Job Fair, new student orientation, and Career Services. Her volunteer work at the local Family Care Center provides meaningful assistance to numerous single mothers. After representing CVCC at the U.S. Chamber’s Southeastern Institute of Organizational Management, Adel developed an initiative to identify and develop leadership potential among elementary school students.
