Anna Graves, a second-year student at Skidmore College, actively works to build student leadership, capacity, and empowerment. She has been involved in humanitarian work in Ghana, helped organize a group of over eighty students to attend a national youth climate action conference, and co-founded a program called S.O.L.E. to engage second-year students in outdoor learning.

Anna Graves, Skidmore College
I have always had a drive to serve others and work for the common good. But I never fully realized that I could go beyond volunteerism--that my opinion and hard work could influence policy decisions. My views changed when I sat in the office of one of my legislators in Washington, DC.
