Ariel Finegold is a social entrepreneur who is deeply committed to helping low-income people achieve financial stability and vitality. She leads the Swarthmore chapter of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Ariel won a $10,000 grant from the Lang Opportunity Scholarship Program to develop a financial literacy project, and is creating a pilot program at the State Correctional Institute in Chester to teach fundamentals of budgeting, saving, and debt management.
