Binta Sidibe is a Junior at the University of Wisconsin-Superior double majoring in International Peace Studies and Economics. She participates in College Student for a Day, a one recruitment program fors African American high school students to shadow UW-Superior students of color. Binta is a mentor for the college preparatory program GEARS (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness in Superior), which combines tutoring and mentoring activities for local adolescents struggling to succeed academically.
