Desiree Parker, a junior at North Carolina Central University, coordinated Operation Warmth for the Homeless, participation in HK on J, and the college’s trip to the MLK Memorial in Washington DC. Desiree also tutors for NCCU’s America Reads Program each week at RN Harris Elementary School.
