Jacob Huffman, UNC Charlotte

Jacob Huffman, a sophomore at UNC Charlotte, is committed to raising student awareness of social issues, housing and food availability, and sustainability. A geography major focusing on community and regional planning, he has worked with Habitat for Humanity and will be deepening his understanding of urban development and neighborhood  revitalization at the Fredrick Blum Neighborhood Assistance Center at Chicago State University in Summer 2012.  Jacob has also worked to bring together students and local musicians to support local nonprofit organizations through his work with Concerts & Causes.

Thanks for your continued outstanding leadership at Campus Compact. Your publications and programs are always top-notch. I sincerely appreciate all you have done for us in the trenches."
