Jason Vasquez, Central Michigan University

Jason Vasquez seeks to develop himself and others as active citizens.  He has coordinated  campus-wide  events, including Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, fundraisers that that raised over $5,000 for Community Compassion Network, and mobile food pantries that fed about 900 families.  Through the Public Service Residential Community, Jason mentored 60 students charged with distributing over $17,000 in grants to local non-profits.  He has volunteered with countless other organizations, such as the Soup Kitchen, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Best Buddies, Alternative Spring Break, and the CMU Lunch Buddies mentoring program.

Thanks for your continued outstanding leadership at Campus Compact. Your publications and programs are always top-notch. I sincerely appreciate all you have done for us in the trenches."
