Katheryn Hines, a sophomore at Purdue University North Central pursuing a degree in Elementary Education, is passionate about mentoring youth.  She serves at the Boys and Girls Club and especially focuses on reading.  She is the co-president of the Dean’s Leadership Group and a representative to the Student Government Association (SGA), helping run the SGA’s High School Leadership Conference, which brought high school students from across northwest Indiana to campus.
