Larissa Bertos has spearheaded NDNU’s participation in the Bonner Foundation’s Bonner Congress for two years. She has flown to universities in Kansas, New Jersey, and New York to work with other students who are seeking long-term solutions to social and environmental justice issues. Currently, Larissa is driving a comprehensive program to promote environmental responsibility among NDNU’s student population.  Larissa has also worked closely with Shelter Network to support family and children’s programs, and twice attended the School of the Americas Watch Vigil.  Larissa has been an advocate for, and active participant in, all Dorothy Stang Center events on campus.
