Samuel Wisel, Plymouth State University

As a sophomore, Sam created a student chapter of Habitat for Humanity at Plymouth State University to build homes and educate students about affordable housing.  He partnered with Pemi-Valley Habitat for Humanity and became an active board member.   Sam’s other projects include Alternative Spring Break trips, an internship with the Spaulding Youth Center, the Flood of Flags to support Pakistan after flood devastation, and a new food pantry for students.  Sam’s degree in Business is geared toward Non-Profit Management.

Campus Compact's Professional Development Institute taught me more in 5 days than I would have learned on my own in 2 years!"
