Xavia Warren, Butler Community College

Xavia Warren seeks to bring the campus and the community together to make systemic differences for those in need, particularly individuals who are facing hunger issues  From serving as the college’s vice-chair/projects coordinator of the student community service organization, to helping lead and sustain the College Completion Day initiative, to coordinating the Better World Books drive, to serving meals at the Ronald McDonald House, to organizing a bilingual finals care package program for parents, to volunteering at a local elementary school, to packaging over 50,000 meals for the Horn of Africa, Xavia dedicates her energy to civic leadership.

Campus Compact's workshops have been extremely valuable. Faculty often become energized by the workshop content and bring that enthusiasm back to campus."
