Bridgette Hamill, Southeastern Oklahoma State University

Ms. Bridgette Hamill is a graduate student completing a Master of Science in Sport Studies and Athletic Administration at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Bridgette multi-tasks well; not only is she an outstanding student with a 3.83 cumulative graduate GPA, Bridgette also works fulltime at Southeastern and constantly volunteers her time to serve others. Although Bridgette has provided leadership for numerous local projects, she prefers to work directly with those in need of assistance. Bridgette’s commitment and compassion extend well beyond people; she also works tirelessly to rescue and place homeless animals. Bridgette’s plans after graduation are not set; however, she will undoubtedly be found caring for both people and animals that need a helping hand regardless of where life leads her.

Thanks to Campus Compact for all that you have done over the years to nurture the campus service and service-learning movement. When we started at St. A's 15 years ago there was a feeling among some campuses that we were seeing higher education's latest 'flash in the pan.' Instead it was the beginning of a revolution of ideas and relationships, and you guys have been fueling us all the way."
